“The Drawings From Provincetown, 2017” are a departure from my usual genre and its involvement with human anxiety. In the first third of my life, I was a part of the Duck-and-Cover generation that felt it was on the verge of atomic war.

I am now in the final third of life and have landed back once again in the age of nuclear holocaust. In the past few months I have had a need to feed my soul with a more un-jaded visual sensibility so I have picked up the first drawing tools of childhood. I present to you, these florals, with hope they transport you for a few moments from our 21st century media blitz.
